Today, I have a list for you of some great basics for your new healthy pantry.

If you have any suggestions, please leave them below to add to the list!

10 Pantry Must-Have’s

  1. Brown rice – must healthier than white rice.
  2. Canned tuna in water – don’t add mayo, just mix with celery. Try adding grapes and walnuts, too.
  3. Oatmeal (not instant) – cook in a slow cooker over night for a tasty breakfast.
  4. Coconut oil – use it for cooking and for moisturizing your skin.
  5. Dried beans – cook in soups for fiber and protein.
  6. Quinoa – add in veggies and you’ve got a healthy, hearty meal
  7. Almonds – the best snack you can ever choose! Have a handful before dinner
  8. Panko bread crumbs – contains less carbs than traditional.
  9. Popcorn kernels – skip the already buttered version
  10. Vegetable broth – don’t forget that convenience foods, like this, often have added salt, so make sure not to add any extra in your recipe.Am I missing anything?

But after that didn’t know what to do. . And I join the gym, but food wise hmm, I am fighting with it still.

Yes, black coffee is fine. Garlic and onions and lemon and cilantro are good seasonings anything without salt!. Really important that the juices do not have any syrups or sugars in them. Might be better to put pieces of fruit at the bottom of a water glass but do not eat the fruit. No dressings on salad except lemon, onion, homemade salsa type dressing. No vinegar or oil.

I started yesterday and I was told that the best thing to use for your salad is a squeeze of lemon and a few drops of EVOO

Spices – red pepper flakes, chilli powder, Cayenne pepper. Be sure to check if they have added salt. Nice stuff for tea will be clove, cardamon, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg these are great to make a nice hot brew. May be little drop of honey but not at every cup just as a treat. :)
