
Hi everyone, I’m probably in a minority here I’m male and live in Wales! But have used CSD to get my weight down a few times.
Last year me and my girlfriend did a 3month road trip around north America and as you could imagine we started to put a couple of pounds on. With no where to cook for ourselves and relying on cafés and restaurants for all our meals CSD seemed out of the question, but after considering the alternatives we thought we’d give it a go.
We looked at what was in the soup and decided to have V8 and jars of salsa instead (we checked the label for salsa with no added sugar) fruit was no problem, raw veg with the salsa was great. We found a motel with a microwave for the days with baked potato and the brown rice. The waitress looked at us a bit funny when we asked for two 20oz stakes and 12 tomatoes.
The whole thing worked and we lost about 10lbs each.
But that was last year it’s now time to do the CSD again. As much as I enjoyed the salsa and V8 there’s nothing like making your own soup and adding the different flavors.

I have to applaud you on being so creative on your road trip! For those of us who travel it gives some great ideas on alternatives to csd but still stay within the guidlines.
