I haven't tried it yet but some say if you steam the cauliflower then smash it like you would mashed potatoes with a little imitation butter and water from steaming it tastes very close to mashed potato

I have tried the mashed cauliflower....and it tastes BETTER than mashed potatoes. When I made it I was low-carbing and real butter and a couple tablespoons of sour cream or cream cheese was used in it....but it wasn't that much...and I think I'm going to try it again with a little of the cooking water and some Molly Mcbutter sprinkled on it. Also...it would be good topped with some stir fryed veggies and maybe a litttle soy sauce..........

Just thought of another topping for the mashed cauliflower....what if you fried the meat of choice....beef chunks, ground beef or cubed chicken breast.... up with a little onion and or mushrooms and reduced the pan juices down till thickened and pour the sauce ( with or without the meat in it) over the mashed cauliflower? I think it just might be a
meal!......
