weight loss

Hi there Blair, I've only recently discovered this site - I've never done this type of thing before and am really enjoying reading everyone' s experiences and taking part in discussions especially when I am 'talking' to people from both 'sides' of the world from me - I am in the middle- who are experiencing the same diet !

Although I love going back through the discussions I am finding it difficult to keep track of the weight lost by each individual. Would it be possible to have a page with a table where each person could register giving their height and Day 1 weight, and then after 7 days register their Day 8 weight and weight lost - this could also be extended to include columns for weight loss every week for those who are on a long term weightloss plan or maintenance diet.

I am not a computer whizz so I do not know how feasible this idae would be.

Thanks for setting these discussion pages up-they are a real motivator!

Re: weight loss

I, too. like the idea of a success page with height and weight stats...  It's encouraging to read other's posts!  It feels good to know that lots of people share the same desires, etc.!!  After all, "misery loves company."  Today's my first day and I am actually very hopeful...

Re: weight loss

Ashley you don't really have to take two weeks off.  Most people just take one and some even only take a few days off.  I definitely would suggest a good multi-vitamin if you plan on doing the diet repeatedly.  I did one week on and one week off.  My week off I basically stuck to a low-fat, low-cal with healthy carb diet.  Many others do the 3 day diet, or  weight watchers or the South Beach.  Check out your local library for lots of great diet books... sure saves on money.  Good Luck!

I lost 32 pounds in 3 months doing the New Cabbage Soup Diet and have stayed at 124 for the last 3 months eating and exercising sensibly!  You can do it too!
Update I'm now down to 121 and counting.
Update as of 9/12 I'm 120!
After my recent bout of CSD 10/6 I'm 117.6

Re: weight loss

Ashley...although someone, somewhere (who knows really WHO made up this diet) has said to go off of it for a couple weeks before going back on it............that's not what I have decided to do.  I am rotating back and forth between the CSD and the 3DD... 7 on, 3 on, 7 on, 3 on and so forth....right now I am following them as they are...starting on October 1 , I will add to each day of my (10DD) except fo  banana day...1C skim milk...in addition,,,1/2C ff cottage cheese on the days when meat or protein  is not eaten ....other then that , I will follow them as stated.....so......this becomes a 10 day diet or 10DD for me.  Honestly, I have never eaten so healthy....and I am not a bit worried that I am eating in an unhealthy way.....not  one little bit..  Now, I am not at all suggesting what others should do or decide to do...this is just my idea of how one can still use the 2 diets for a longer period of time....I don't  feel like looking at long food lists or figuring out different diet plans....this woe has become second nature to me and is sooooo EASY!...and that's the way...EZ to follow = success.........smiley-smile
