water pills?

HI guys, I had a question.  One of my friends is taking water pills, she says it helps her during the time of the month and gets rid of the water in her body.  She also said that when she was on the birth control pill it made er gain a lot of weight and her doctor gave her the water pills and now she lost the water weight.  I'm wondering if I should get that and if it's the same thing as doing the csd.  The only thing is like the csd you have to keep taking the pill or the water weight will come back.

Re: water pills?

personally unless you retain water and it is prescribed by your physican I would stay away from them.  I know there are those that take them for water bloat around their periods but I think it really does more harm than good.

I take a diuretic but under dr care and it is taken with other medications she has prescribed

Re: water pills?

Hi Emerald

A bunch of parsley does exactly the same as a water pill and its even better because its healthier and gives you fibre.  Your doctor can also confirm this.
