I have to admit on day 3 I am sick of cabbage soup. I'll probably just eat less. I really gobbled it the first day but it helped clean me out. Would be great if I could find a buddy. Feel all alone in it out here. I have lost 3 lbs though. At least today is fruit day. Anybody out there I can share experiences with????? Jayne.....

you are already sharing with all of us and congrats on the 3lbs...because this diet is so restictive it is sometimes hard to get past day 4 without the cheets LOL you are almost 1/2 way there and check out the reciepe section for banana tips and protien variations they do help!

I started this Sunday so I'm on Day 3 as well. I have to say, I HATE my soup. My mom had me add a couple cups of spicy tomato juice and I like tomato soup as much as the next person, but its just too overpowering. I'd rather just have the broth and veggies personally.
Its been TOUGH these three days. I had 1 cup of coffee this morning since I read some people still had coffee every day and it put me in a much better mood. I think it helps too being able to eat fruit and veggies today.
Last night I grilled up some peppers, onions and mushrooms with just a teeny bit of balsamic vinegar and added it to steamed squash and zucchini. I LOVE it. I don't even want the soup today...I know I'll need it tomorrow on the bananas only day.
DO you have to eat the soup everyday? I suppose I could force myself later tonight if I absolutely have to.

Good luck! I started Saturday. Today is banana day...and it is going great so far! I love skim milk so I had a big glass and a banana for breakfast - soup for lunch. I cheated last night and had 2 glasses of wine, but other than that I've been sticking to the diet. I feel better, not sure if I've lost anything yet. I plan to wait until Sunday to weigh. Hopefully will see some results. I hope to lose at least 30lbs...It was so much easier to lose when I was younger and didn't have an appreciation for good wine!

crispy yes if you need to add more both, and lulu there you do mot have to add the V8 juice, I never do, but I do add a can of stewed tomoatos that I puree to my broth but that is personel preference
btw I love v-8 but it can be strong
I suggest you make a new batch of soup to more your liking and taste pallet

Hey SweeT I agree with you it was so much easier when younger!! Even tho back then I did drink alcohol too it just fell off me when I wanted it to! I think I was more active then tho as well as being younger.
It's my banana day today too and I am loving it! Much better this time around for some reason than last time I did the csd. I am having a great day and really enjoying the banana shakes/smoothies!! Can't wait for my next one.
Lulu, next time make the soup without the tomatoes if you don't like it that way. I tried a batch like that last time, I just added soy sauce and ginger I think instead of the tomatoes and or V-8 juice. Personally I prefer it with the v-8 but you should experiment and find one you like.

I scooped out some of the soup I had and added it to about 2 1/2 cups of chicken broth and I LOVE it now. It was just too tomatoey before. I like tomato soup and all, but it was just too much ya know?
Looking forward to the remaining 4 days. Cant wait to eat meat!
