This diet is one awful experience -- but it WORKS! I'm on day 6 and its been tough but I've lost 8 pounds so far! And I feel GREAT! Much more energy and I know my body is happy because I'm not eating all the junk food. I think the diet makes you stronger and have more willpower if you get through it successfully. Then when you start your "real" diet, you have much more courage to stay on track. I'm going to go back on this in two weeks, dieting during the next two, so that I can keep the momentum of losing weight. There is a lot more than just a diet here. Good luck!

Hey Yall,
I just added a package of "Sun-Bird" Thai Red Curry stir fry powder to the soup!It TASTES GREAT! The Thai mix has only 230mg of sodium, 3 carbs and 20 calories. It made all the difference and I didnt use v8 OR BOULLION!Way less sodium! Anyway

I am starting the diet tommorrow. I am a 24 year old girl living in Sydney, Australia. I need to get back in control of what I am eating after the Silly season. I have made loads of cabbage soup in my day but never stuck to the strict regime. I normally would just eat it for all my evening meals and have a salad for lunch, and a breakie shake...to avoid getting bored. I never saw any great results despite exercising every day - I am just one of the lucky ones I guess.
I thought I will give the program a go to see if it makes a difference. My biggest problem is going to be avoid a glass of wine or two I think. I have a busy weekend ahead of me. Time for some willpower.

Do you realize that alcohol turns to pure sugar in the blood stream? Ye Gods yall, cant you stay sober just one week? No wonder diets dont work for you. You are only cheating yourselves..I am sure your liver would love the break from the alcohol too. Be good and do it right. You can live without alcohol for one week..Good luck.

i quit smoking not even 2 months ago. the best way, is to detox your body. the sooner you detox, the sooner the cravings stop.
since this is a detox diet, stick to it strictly, drink lotsa water. and dont put any poison in your body to substitude the ciggies. those stimulants, make you crave for cigarettes.
so if you are serious about quitting, dont do it.
and in the process, you will loose weight.
