Hi all! I'm starting this diet on Monday also. I have all the food (except the bananas which I will get later in the week) and will make my soup tomorrow so it's all ready for Monday.
Mississippi, I'm nervous too. I'm really hoping I can stay on this for a week. It's seems very doable. I'm also hoping that I like it enough (and see some decent results) so I'll want to continue and try another week.
I've been invited to go to Mexico in March (I've never been out of the States) so I have some good motivation to help me stick with this! I'd like to lose a total of 30-40 lbs. (not all by the middle of March because I highly doubt that would happen for me LOL) and at least 15 or so of them by my trip.

Hi Mississippi and Blueyedblonde, I have been doing a only a few days of the diet every week for the last few weeks due to family demands - I have enjoyed doing it and certainly felt really good after those few days. Over the last 3 weeks I have lost 10 pounds but with a bit of a blip this weekend - two dinners out and a birthday party< I am feeling quite bloated and tired.
Next Monday (12th Feb) is school midterm break and the family are going for a hotel break for a few days - no cooking or cleaning Yeahhhh!!
So I am definitely ready to do a full week starting on Monday, to get rid of my squidgy middle!!.
Will post my weight tommorrow morning and I would really appreciate your support.
Good luck everyone

Interesting how eating what you really shouldn't ie heavy dinners etc makes you feel bloated and tired. I have really adapted this as an on going diet and feel so much better. I guess we will all fall into that night out, birthday party etc and wake up yuk but it's could to know that you just have to go on the soup (or lots of vegies and fruit) for a few days to get rid of it.
Lucky sinead going on a break and having someone cooking etc. My fantasy is having my own cook who would make up delicious healthy meals for the whole family. Good luck

I know! Wouldn't life be so easy if we all had our own cook! All these slim healthy celebrities who have their own chef to cook healthy meals - no wonder they are so slim - if I was handed a healthy meal 3 times a day and didn't have to do the dishes I would be a Goddess ( well not quite
)
Cooking and clearing up afterwards has got to be so time consuming - it seems I only get cleared up from one meal that I have to start on the next!! With the drudgery of it all its no wonder I dip into the biscuit tin so much!
Ya know, when I think back to life before kids, I didnt use half the energy I do now -I am on the go all day so why aren't I slim?? Okay I know the answer - all that energy burned up is balanced out by the constant nibbling due to the stress of family life!!
Anyway, very positive today - nice busy morning to keep me out of the house and now I spend my danger time ie. 3 - 4pm on this site getting some inspiration!
As soon as the HUSBAND
comes in this evening I will get out for a long walk which always helps keep me focused in the evening. Weighed myself this morning - 152 lbs 5'5 and am really determined to complete the full week which will take me up to my mini-break!
Good luck people!! Day 1 is nearly over!
PS. I am so delighted to have found this site. I have really been yo-yoing over a couple of stone for the last couple of years and I could never finally get my act together! Also I always got fed up when a week of healthy eating would go by and I would not have lost any weight because, although everything was low fat, I was still consuming too many carbs!! I love this diet because it gives good results and I know that in the future if I do have a blip I can go back to the CSD even for a few days and get rid of the extra pounds. I have a few BIG events this year and I know now that I am on the right track to succeeding in being slim and confident!! and am so looking forward to shopping for outfits and KNOWING that clothes are going to skim over me and not cling to the lumps and bumps!!
Anyway thats Sinead's thoughts for the evening - this is great therapy! - I'm really focussed now!!
PPS. Sorry for going on a bit!!

Hello Everyone!! I am also very excited about doing this diet! I've looked at others but this sounds gr8! I am also kinda nervous but it should be a gr8 start to cutting down on what I eat! I'm 5'6 and weigh about 175 and don't like looking at myself in the mirror. I'd like to lose at least 25 lbs. by 1 March and I'm determined to do that.
As others need motivation, I do too!
It's nice to have others that are going through the same thing you are and it feels good to know that there's someone supporting you.
You all take care and I'll let you know what happens daily with my dieting. I'm starting tomorrow (6 Feb. 07).
Talk to you soon.
