No don't get me wrong it's not that bad in fact it is a welcome change to the CSD I'm just having a bad day lol! I have been strict dieting now for nearly 9 days and I have just had it for the moment and I just need a bit of normality for a bit so no dieting this weekend in fact I'm going to have a drink as well I think I deserve it after this stint of dieting. Normally I just do 1 week CSD followed by 2 weeks healthy eating with a bit of what I like! I am counting now till my break 6 hours to go!

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

Hi Chicas,

Sally, I guess I was counting the calories for the fruits also, eventhough with all this theory from negative calories and weight watchers not giving any guilt to fruits, I guess if we don't count those calories the total counting would go down to the numbers you just gave me.

Today I am starting CSD but from sunday I will start my 1000cal a day plus lots of exercise and plan to do CSD in between weeks. I went to buy the groceries smiley-smile You wanna see my soup? Here it goes, it even have my sign...
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/DIETAS%20/CSDmyrecipecopy.jpg

I bought those noodle soups that come with the powder separate, kind of like "maruchan" but I only used the powder, yummy yummy, my soup was like a real chinese soup. I didn't put the tomatoes though, and I always replace onions for green onions. I had a big piece of watermelon this morning and I will go to my favorite class of "latin dance" later at 6pm. My abs are hurting so bad, can't even laugh or sneeze, my husband is in shock because in only 2 days exercise he says my body looks toned, jeje what a liar, he is motivating me so much, I feel bad for him, because he married what he used to called me a "hottie" and now I am just a chubby lady, and extra pounds sure makes us look older, I really hope I am on time to recover my body.

SALLY, I think for the days coming maybe you should plan ahead your menus, make them in a way to fit them all in 1000 to 1200 cal a day, you can throw in healthy and still very delicious food. Print the Negative calorie food and use them as your main source. I will go back to normal life from sunday but I hope you don't leave us sweetie. Are your working out darling? I need that report from you ok? ... I am waiting...
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/EMOTICONS/jump.gif

Here I will post again the "Negative Calorie Food"
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/DIETAS%20/neg.jpghttp://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/DIETAS%20/negfruits.jpghttp://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/DIETAS%20/negmeat.jpg

Barb & Rottingoak - About "HAX PLANCH DIET"
My hubby did it for 2 weeks and lost 20 pounds but he was so faithful to the diet that it was ridiculous, he even bought a little scale to weight the food and don't go 1gr over to what they say in the diet.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/EMOTICONS/salad.gif
Mandy, you seem to be doing great, congrats on resisting that pizza smiley-smile it's hard to be around normal eating people jeje, my hubby loves sausages and pastas, could you believe? I hope you want to make the workouts a habit in your life, let's have a point everytime we do exercise ok? you still have many days left for CSD and that dress will look so pretty in you. Keep it up Mandy! Oh, and I hate cranberry juice, it's not natural made by me so I never include it in my menus of CSD.

Paragon, how is your 1st day of CSD? I am also in day1. About your delish diet, you still managed to lose a pound so it is great since it was your week off. Let me know about your ideas of menus for this CSD please? I posted a picture of my soup today. Keep strong amiga!

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/EMOTICONS/pya.gif

Cindy, hang in there, CSD is a hell of a diet right? Sure It is!!! But I don't know any other one that can make us lose as much pounds as this one and for a good jump start or for a quick fix this is the choice I guess. I have a wedding this saturday, and then I have my own wedding on September, so I have more than enough reasons to do my best from now on. Have a good banana day and don't forget eat lots of soup.

OK LADIES, I gotta go now, hope you all have a nice slim day
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/EMOTICONS/all4oneoneforall.gif

Sally, Mandy I always appreciate the words of encourage, thanks!!!

charito33 - 1gr = 1 gram? Is there a place where I can find more information? the exact serving and such? Can you have snacks in between the three meals and for dinner on Sunday, what list?

Thanks!

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

Charito my darling did you eat fruit not listed then on the 3 DD then? because I stuck to only the fruit it stated I only found it on a website though so it could be wrong of course but it seemed so exact to the nearest calorie that I thought it must be right.

Thanks so much for those negative calorie lists to help me plan my menus, they will be a great help and hopefully stop me gaining between now and next Monday. I noticed it didn't include wine lol! I've never seen a protein negative calorie list before!

smiley-eek I don't think I could eat frogs legs though lol! I like frogs too much!  I'm also highly allergic to shellfish but I love trout and tuna so I will eat them.

Hey your soup looks so much better than mine! smiley-eek

Oh exercise! smiley-bouncesmiley-bouncesmiley-bounce I have done 30 mins a day of the ones recommended on my CSD booklet.

I am working for the next two days so will do as much PE with the kids as I can and I NEVER sit down at work!!!

3 and a half hours of this diet to go lol! No I promise I won't pig out at midnight lol

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

Hi Everyone!
I hope that all of my buddies are having an excellent day and staying on plan!  I am feeling much better today about the whole dress issue.  I know in my head that dress sizes in the US are far off from the sizes of regular clothes but it still hurt in my heart to see that number 20 on the tag.  smiley-sad  On the bright side it was a good kick in the butt for me to keep going and stay on track.  Thankyou Sally and Charito for your encouragement regarding my dress drama!  You guys are such an unbelievable support system for me and I am so grateful to you! smiley-hug

And I feel much better today because I spent hours getting my hair highlighted and practiced on for the wedding and I left the shop feeling like a real queen!smiley-biggrin  So all is well.

Congratulations Paragon on your weight loss!smiley-clappingI say if you can lose a pound while eating raisin bread and peanut butter (my mouth is watering!) then that is an absolute success!  Good luck with your week of CSD!  Stay strong, I know you will do great!  And your DVD sounds like fun!  I'm sure my husband would love it too!

Charito, thanks for the negative calorie lists.  I was wondering about that as I had never heard about negative calorie foods until I started reading these posts!  I also have to admit that I did not exercise again today.  smiley-blush  But I thought about it a lot and I have guilt over not doing it so I am sure I am ready to start tomorrow.  Thanks for the encouragement!  smiley-hug  Also, your post about your husband already noticing, that is truly inspiring!  I hope you are having a good day one of csd!  Your soup looks delicious by the way!  smiley-biggrin  I also used regular onion in my soup instead of green onion.  I also added a little bit of fresh garlic.  And on day three I am still liking the soup, so I guess that is a good thing!  And don't worry, we will not leave you.  I'm sure we can all stick together until we are all at our goal and we will all reach our goal, I just know it!

Sally, you are an absolute champion for going nine days straight without a break from dieting!  smiley-first  Congratulations on staying strong!  I am so anxious to hear your results from the 3dd because my plan is to go right from csd to 3dd and then just do healthy low cal food from then until the wedding next Saturday.  But I'll tell you what, just like you can't wait for your glass of wine, I am going to feel no guilt on Saturday when I have an ice cold beer at the wedding!  smiley-tongue  I was wondering, what exercise do they recommend in your csd book? Isn't it fabulous to have our husbands love us the way that they do?  My sister in law's husband is so rotton to her when she gains weight and I always feel so bad for her.  It really makes me appreciate my husband even more!  smiley-wub

Odette, how did you do with your 3dd?  Last time you checked in it seems like you were right on track.  I can't wait to hear what the overall results were!  smiley-smile

Cindy, congrats for sticking with your plan so far!  smiley-clapping  Aren't weddings a great motivater?  And your hubby letting you buy a new dress is a great motivation too!  Hope you had a good banana day.  I am one day behind you and although I'm not particularly fond of bananas I am really looking forward to the milk and a lot of the banana ideas that I have read in different posts sound really great!  Keep up the good work!

I am on day three and still hanging in there.  I feel grateful that my will power is staying strong and I know I will get through this week, with a huge thanks to you guys! smiley-clapping  smiley-hug  I am dying to weigh myself but I think it will be more gratifying if I wait until the end so I am holding out until Monday morning.  But when my hubby hugged me before he left for work tonight he said "Wow skinny, your diet is amazing!"  So that was great and I know I am on the right track. smiley-laugh

Everyone have a great day tomorrow and keep posting your results!

Great Folks
phew I am over the worst. I felt so week yesterday, my husband pampered me like a baby. I sat on the couch all eve and he cleaned the house from head to toe. He is such a perfectionist, I know that now the house is sparkling. But he said it is on condition I stick to my diet. Fair exchange!!!!
Oh well today I am having scnitzel grilled on the George Forman - Delicious with some sliced onions and tomatos.
Sally22 I am dying to heat your results of the 3dd. How much you lost on it. I would love to keep two lots of that!
Also on the 3dd can i eat any of the friuts and veggies on the negative calorie list?
have a good one you all and hang in there its great
Actually my skirts dont feel any looser!
Hopefully soon!!

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

Okay guys, I made myself a weight loss ticker on ticker.com cause I just love yours, but now how do I get it on here?  So  many different options.  Any help would be appreciated.

Good for you Cindy for sticking to it.  I am sure you will notice a change in your skirt soon enough.  And lucky you that your husband let you have a well deserved break from housework.  I'd like to say I wish mine would, but he has been working 16 hour days this week so I will give him a pass on the cleaning!

Is everyone having a good day?  I'm dying to hear some positive results from the 3 day dieters!  I am holding out hope that the 3dd is a miracle!  smiley-biggrin

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

HI GIRLS smiley-smile

Sally, Mandy
, always thanks for the words of support. I was thinking about starting a new thread for May. We need to have a new thread so we can check at the end of the month how much we did for us in a month, everybody please get what their weight was on May 1st and post it in the nes thread, then we will compare at the end on May 31st.

I am doing CSD short version or better said just for 3 days, I lost  a pound from yesterday, seem little but I gotta be honest and I kind of cheated eating eggplants + eggs, i know, that looked more like Atkins diet, Yes, I binged big time with the eggplants buuh smiley-sad

Today I am eating fruits and soup, I am kind of anxious, I know why? that wedding coming and I haven't achieved what was my short term goal. I just hope I can deal to lose 10 Lbs a month because my wedding is in september, I know I wont lose 10 Lbs in 3 days, so why do I bother but I am exercising and trying to eat right until then smiley-blush

Please girls help me to stick to this diet, i am finding it hurt to do it smiley-samui

Mandy, at ticketcentral.com or tickerfactory.com I could not post the ticker so i went to my photobucket.com and upload the link then my photobucket gave me an IMG link and that's what I pasted here. Good luck. And congratulations for sticking to this diet, because right now I am having a crisis smiley-sad but if your husband is already noticing the difference, wow, very good mandy.

Sally, tell me, how was the 3DD lost? I know you are busy working but probably later you can say Hi to us smiley-wink Keep it up sweetie, i know you are doing great!

Cindy, hang in there buddy, today you will eat yummy yummy from that grill, enjoy it!

I will try hard to stick to diet today, but I feel really week, oh boy.

Have a great day ladies.

Charito.

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

Lol I had the same problem 36togoal Charito taught me how to post pictures etc on here. She's the queen of jazzing up the posts!  smiley-first

You join www.photobucket.com which is free! Then you download your ticker to there and any other pictures you may want to put on here. You then copy the img tag [3rd box down under the picture you want] and paste on here!

http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u136/sally22_01/TICKER.png

Ok this is my new one!

smiley-biggrin Yahoo 5lbs to go!!! I lost 3 lbs on the 3DD which is 1lb a day so better than I do on the CSD as my average weight loss on that has been 4lbs a week! I think my body has got so used to the CSD that it doesn't work as well as it did to start with so a different diet has worked better for me. I stuck to the 3DD diet exactly and had no other fruit and veg even negative calorie ones!

Despite not dieting today I have been good: - smiley-angel
No breakfast didn't have time [I know it's a silly meal to miss]
Lunch - Spicy bean healthy choice wrap and a fruit smoothy [I actually went to the shop picked up a bag of crisps then thought better of it and put them back!]
Dinner - Rainbow trout and salad and 1 apple

smiley-mad2 As for cleaning I'm at it all the time at the moment [cleaning that is] people viewing the house every day and I am not the tidiest of people and for sure my husband and sons aren't! Why do teenage boys bedrooms look and smell like squats even if they are decorated nicely? Still I don't care just so long as we sell it again so we can move to our new house in Wales.

smiley-worthysmiley-bounce Charito you'll be pleased to hear that I'm aching all over today as I did dance teaching today and worked myself hard with the kids and made them do a good aerobic warmup first for my benifit lol! Still I think I'm fitter than quite a few of them!

My scanner is broken so I can't put the cabbage soup diet instructions for exercise on
here and you need the diagram pictures to really understand what you need to do!
I'll see if I can scan it somewhere else and will put them on when I can or I'll find a way of describing them they are very low key I think but then I am a PE teacher, be it a lazy one! smiley-rolleyes

We sure all seem to have lovely husbands at the end of the day and for that we are lucky judging by what others I know put up with and that helps when we are doing this torture!
smiley-wub

Hope all is going well for all of you

HAPPY DIETING!!!

smiley-hug

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

Oh Charito I was typing my last post when you posted so hadn't read yours before.
Come on you can do this I know just how hard this is but I promise you it will be worth it.

The way you work out and if you stick to it you can lose 1lb a day I'm sure!

Cross off each day as you complete.
Post on here when you feel like cheating.
Put an unflattering picture of yourself on the fridge door or where ever you keep food your are tempted to eat.

Hang in there and post on here when you are feeling down remember you have had a lot to cope with of late and I know dieting is depressing but when you are happier in your body you will feel happier in yourself I promise. I do and I was really depressed before I started dieting!

Get 5lbs of butter from the supermarket, look at it because that is what you have already lost you know!!!

BIG BIG smiley-hug

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

Okay I don't have a lot of time to post as I am running out the door at the moment, but Charito you sound so down I just had to take the time for a quick word of encouragement...
Sally is absolutely right.  Line up five pounds of butter because that is what you have accomplished and that is fantastic!  Or look at a five pound bag of flour or sugar and hold that up to you because that's what used to be on your body!  It's really quite amazing if you think about it!  And Sally, it is too funny that you equate your weight loss with pounds of butter, I thought I was the only one who did that!!! LOL  smiley-tongue
Before I started this diet when I was just looking around and reading other posts, I found one so good and motivational that I had to print it off.  I don't remember who wrote it now, or where I found it, and I hope they don't mind me passing it along.  But it has helped me in my weaker moments and hopefully it can help you to!

"I deserve to be happy with the skin that I'm in.  I deserve to be able to put on ANYTHING and feel attractive in it.  I deserve to have my husband touch my body and not feel self-conscious about the way my body feels.  And I am going to do the work it takes to get what I deserve.

You deserve to be happy with your body too.  You deserve to NOT waste time thinking about what size you can fit into, what department and aisle you have to shop in because of your size or feeling guilty if you have an item of food that's maybe not so good for you once in a while.

Why is 7 days so hard?  Isn't it worth it?  Is that feast you had at your family get-together or the 1/2 a pizza you had with your family or the bag of chips you just couldn't put down worth the guilt, helplessness and shame you are going to feel tomorrow - when you have to try to pick yourself up and start over again?  Just CHOSE not to do that.  It's your choice ALWAYS- why is it so hard to make the right one!

Someone wrote in a post one time.... "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS!"  Every time people are eating things around me that I shouldn't eat (and I know what I should and shouldn't eat), I just remind myself of that phrase and remember how it feels to be thin and healthy and love the skin that I'm in.

The diet works - there's no doubt about that.  And it's so simple - nothing to measure, no points to count - it's a no-brainer.

Decide.....  decide that you are not happy with your weight
Commit..... make a commitment to yourself to stick to the plan no matter what
Achieve..... sticking to the plan, you will achieve your goals - it's a fact!
Celebrate... remember to reward yourself when you achieve your goals."

I hope that you can find some comfort in some of that, I know it is very inspirational for me!
Keep it up Charito, you can do it!  You lost a pound in a day?  That's fantastic!  Most people are lucky to lose that in a week!  That's what I was losing in a week before i started csd.  We are here for you, you will get through this!  smiley-hug

Okay, I have to run.  More later.  Thanks for the help with the ticker, I will try it when I get home.  And congrats Sally on your loss!

Re: "THE TRIO SALLY-PARAGON-CHARITO" start new CSD Challenge: Mon April 22

Yeah, Charito, you can do it. But you need to be kind to yourself. you've been through a lot. I'm not surprised you want to eat and you find it hard to diet right now. I know how comforting food can be when you are sad and weak and vulnerable. But it makes you feel worse in the long run if you hate yourself for giving in, and you hate your own body. Give your poor old body a break! Give it healthy food and healthy exercise that will get it into great shape.

How can you pamper yourself and make yourself feel good without eating unhealthy stuff? How about:
* long bubble baths?
* get a new haircut?
* get a beauty treatment like a facial or a manicure?
* buy a cute new outfit?
* new jewellery?
* buy a CD and snuggle down with your hubby in the candellight and listen to it together?
* go to a movie with your DH?
* go for a long walk with your DH?
* have a long chat with your girlfriends - let them know you are sticking to a new diet and doing really well and they mustn't offer you unhealthy food?

Those things should help lift your mood and make you feel better without ruining all the good work you have achieved in your weight loss so far. But honey, be realistic about the weight-loss. Do be kind to your body and don't starve it or make it unwell by denying it the things it needs to heal. If you feel really hungry, or weak, or have symptoms like headaches, then get some healthy food. You have my permission to eat stuff like lean meat, low fat dairy, extra fruits and vegetables etc. even carbs like pasta or rice in sensible portions, even if they're not listed on your diet that day. On the other hand, no matter how much your body tells you it really really needs donuts to heal, you have to ignore that!

Have a <<hug>>, take a deep breath, and keep going. And charito, if you do weaken and eat a whole bucket of chicken, come back here and tell us about it. It's OK, we'll still love you, and we'll help you get back on track afterwards. For heaven's sake you know there's nothing you can't share with us so just keep posting here every day no matter whether you're feeling great or feeling terrible. That's what we're here for.

SALLY, MANDY and PARAGON, you guys are the best friends and diet buddies ever!!!
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/chari31/EMOTICONS/hi5.gif

Thanks girls for all your words of support, it's 7:15pm now I have been so faithful to my CSD Day 1 (again day 1) cause yesterday the binge on eggplant ruined it. I am feeling so empty smiley-biggrin jeje but I know at the end I will feel great. I should feel very depressed but I am trying to think about other things, trying to organize myself and study my medical stuff so I can soon clear my exams and get my degree; I am trying to get back in shape because this overweight is taking my years away with tears and feeling myself like the most horrible thing. It may sound stupid but that's the way I feel, and the worst thing is that I let this happen day a day, at least now i am more conscious and for some sort of luck I lost 5 Lbs, it's a start right?

Thanks Paragon, Sally and Mandy, I really really value your words of support and kindness. You guys rock!!!
