Hi kip and welcome to the site
You can do it just as long as you keep yourself busy and don't think about food too much.
We can do it together !
Good luck and let us know how you are doing

I started on May 2nd but I'll hang out with you guys if you don't mind.
This is my second time of doing CSD - I lost 7lbs the first week I did it, then I had a "week off" and I lost another lb (I was following a different diet, more varied and more calories than CSD). I'd like to lose maybe 4lbs this time, I don't expect to lose as many as my first time. But I'll be happy as long as I lose something. The only way is down!
I think one secret is planning ahead. Have you got your favourite luxury veggies in for day 2? I just had fried mushrooms, tomatoes and onions for breakfast (fried in low-cal cooking spray of course!) and I've got some asparagus and some cute baby sweet peppers and aubergine (eggplant) which I'm going to grill for my lunch, and I'm going to do a stir-fry with exotic mushrooms and other veggies for my dinner, with plenty of cabbage soup of course.
Good luck to you all, May 3rd starters!

my favorite luxury veggies so far have been squash and zucc. pan fried in 0 cal spray, and i put lots of garlic powder, pepper, and parsley.....yummy! and ofcourse i think day two's baked potatoe was about the best baked potatoe i have ever had in my life, i had no idea that i would want it so badly, but i thought about it all day!
good luck!

I really hate vegetable day, not that i don't like vegetables but i just cannot eat veggies
by themselves with no bread or meat so i only end up eating salads and soup my second day.
Paragon good luck to you as well and greenlady i might try your squash idea, thanks

I've just woken up on Day 3. What a relief - day 2 is the worst! But I got through it by having my favourite veggies and loads of soup. I really enjoyed my baked potato last night, and I enjoyed my Thai-inspired soup with lime juice and cilantro and chilli peppers, but I enjoyed even more the bowl of berries I had for breakfast this morning.
What keeps me going is looking forward to weighing in on day 8 and seeing that I've lost four pounds or more in a single week.
