Well Im about 5'5 and I weigh from 135-140 depending on the time of the month.
Im 19 and ever since I was about 13 my average weight was always 120-125.
I had a baby when I was 17, but went right back to 120 afterward, so that can't be why.
Anyhow, I consider myself "average" with a few extra pounds, and Ive heard that the less weight you have to lose, the harder/longer it takes. Have any of you had similar experiences?
Thanks:biggrin:

I'm actually in the same boat as you Kori. I too am about 5'5 and I weigh between 130-135. I had always weighed b/w 120-125 and I am really tired of this extra weight. I too have heard that the less weight you need to lose the harder it is but I'm trying anways. I just started the diet today and I did pretty good. I barely cheated at all and had tons of water and three bowls of soup. I am going to go to the gym tomorrow and try to workout every day this week to help the weight come off a little faster. Do you usually work out? What day are you on?

Well I went and bought all the ingredients today, and I officially start tomorrow
Im so glad that there's someone in the same boat as me!
Im so sick of my friends rolling their eyes when I talk about losing weight,
because to me its a big deal.. I don't roll my eyes when they talk about their weight.
Anyway, keep in touch and let me know how it goes. I'll also keep you posted
Have you started yet?

How are thing going??? I am starting day 4 today and I haven't actually lost any weight yet....Which makes it hard to look forward to soup, bananas, and skim milk day! Oh well. I am going to try to stay on track....I have cheated a few times but hopefully nothing major! Let me know how things are going for you, I am just on my way to the gym!

I've heard the weight loss slows down when you don't have much to lose, though I'm 10-15lbs away from my goal too and lost 6lbs so far this week (I'm on day 6, did the diet twice before and lost 6lbs too both times)
luckykel don't worry, some people don't see results until the morning of day 8

well I am am also 5'4 and and was about 134 -135 I'm on day 6 and I think I've lost about five or six pounds but my scale sux so it is hard to tell but I've lost an inch and I look slimmer already.I think your right that it may takes us longer because we don't have as much to lose but I think 5 pounds off on someone who only needs to lose about 15 makes a HUGE difference.and I know how you feel about people rolling their eyes "like oh my god you are not fat " That's all fine and dandy,I don't think I'm fat either...until I put a bathing suit on or have to look at myself naked! lol

I think the less weight you have to lose the slower it is for sure. Granted I did cheat two days (not majorly at all but still) and I only lost 4-5 pounds on the CSD. I mean 4-5 isn't bad but I was totally hoping for a pound a day. Right now a few of us are on the 3 day diet, I think it's a bit easier because it's only 3 days and even though I haven't weighed myself I feel skinnier after the first day. Don't do it for more then 3 days in a row though because your body will go into starvation mode and hold onto fat (at least that is what some websites say).
Good luck! The last 5-10 always suck the worst!
