Hi everyone! I've done the CSD on my own many times but I think it will be great to have a forum and answers to questions.
I'm reading through the posts here but see nothing about excercise during CSD. I know you don't have to but am wondering if anyone has had better results by excercising.
Thanks and I'm really glad to be here!

I'm guessing exercise no matter what is good. Just be sure no one stands behind you if you are going to do aerobics cause of the gas hahahaha
This will be my first time going through the diet on an exercise regimen I think we'll be fine. If we get light headed though we may want to stop

The following thread has many conflicting opinions about exercise... hope it helps. http://www.cabbage-soup-diet.com/csd/t5 … -diet.html

Sweetjag...very nice of you to paste that thread, but personally, look at all the "negatives" that guy has. I would not listen to a thing he has to say, sorry! But I've seen some very rude comments by him in the past as well and several of us think that he is the culprit behind the negatives given to Sally, who is by the way, the most awesome person on here and always helpful to everyone. So I would say, if you want to exercise, do it! It is always the best thing to do when dieting because it gets you motivated, increases your metabolism, and brings out those endorphins and makes you happy! So that is just MY opinion, which is not worth much, and now that I have "dissed" someone, just watch...I bet I will get the negative points as well. but frankly, I really don't think that means anything! We are all here to help each other and that's what we do! There are too many wonderful, supportive people here for us to let one *^&$#*@#% get us down, right?

Twilight, I agree with you on that one! That guy had been stirring things up for a while and had really been a bit of a fanatic about the whole thing. Some of his observations and advice about 'womens health' also crossed the 'acceptable line'. The fact that he disappeared around the same time that Sally was getting the negative marks has been on my mind also. I would love to know what Sally thinks.
Sistermoon, if you are used to exercising I would keep it up - even if it is at a gentler pace. If not then a gentle walk every day helps to keep you motivated, keep your metabolism up, and keep you regular!!
Good Luck

Sally is right there with us on this one, but the poor thing is probably afraid to confront the bastard after all the turmoil he has caused! I don't care, I'll take the heat, bring it on! No one person should have that kind of power over us, we are strong, we are invincible...or how ever that song goes! Yeah, sisters! Unite!

I'm fairly new and I kinda figured out what you all are saying about "that guy." I don't think he's posted lately (since I've started) but I saw many comments in older threads. So I looked up all his posts...he has strong opinions. A few made sense, but he didn't have many nice things to say and even the good advice was given in such a rude manner that it didn't matter that it was good advice.
The point of this forum is to find support and helpful people, not be preached to or stand on a soapbox. I'm glad I'm here and getting a lot of support that I need. I already feel like I've made lifelong friends!!
Blessings and "happy thoughts" to you all!

Thanks to everyone for their input! I think to start I'll do some yoga and walking while on the 7-day program.
