Hi, I'm on day 3 and have followed this to the T.. I'm doing fine, but my scale has not budged a bit. 148.4 is what I weighed Sat going into the program and its what I weighed this morning. Am I expecting too much? I thought it would move alittle.

Miricl - Dont be too upset, some people on here have also had the same problem and by the end of day 7 they see a huge change.
Everyone on here reacts differently to everything. If we all could loose the weight the same way, then we would all be on the same diet right? well for some people, the 3dd works and for some it dont. For me the 3dd doesnt but atkins does and so does the csd.
What ever you do, DONT weigh yourself on day 5. Day 4 is milk and bannanas so you tend to gain a few but after days 5-7 it comes off fast.
I personally havent seen it yet since this is my first time, but i have read 3 weeks worth of discussions from so many people on how they were doing and there results.
If i were you, i would read as many of the topics on here and how people react to different situations. It may help you get through this. I know it does for me!!

Hi! Its really not that strange that you don't see any loss yet. The previous poster was correct and the scale really seems to move after day 5. I am not weighing myself until the end, mainly because I don't want to get discouraged. I did, however, take my waist measurement the morning (my day 3) and have lost almost 2 inches there!
My only advice is to make sure you are eating enough and drinking lots of water.

I agree, drink lots of water! They say you should intake in ounces half your boy weight in water while on ANY diet! Therefore if you weight 200 pounds, you should try to drink 100 ounces of water!
Actually I am the one who was ranting about after day 4! Whe I did this the first time I weighed myself after day 3, like in the morning of day 4 BEFORE the bananas and I swear I had lost 4 pounds! Then I did the banana day and weighed myself the next morning and had almost gained it ALL back! I was so bummed! but each day after that I would drop pound or two and ended up losing 7 pounds in all. I really don't like banana day at all and have thought of omitting it but I really need to do this diet this time without making up my own rules and I afraid to change it now! So this week I will do it exactly and perhaps next time I will see what happens. The best suggestion is to NOT weigh in until the end, but if you are like me...we've GOT TO KNOW!!
Don't worry though, hang tight and you will do great as long as you are sticking to it!

I even weighed myself at 3:00 in the morning which would have been "between" day 5 and 6 (couldn't sleep that night) and I had gained a pound. Was TICKED!! Then I weighed myself again four hours later after finally getting some sleep and waking up for work, and I was down 3 pounds. Now that's weird. I certainly hadn't eaten anything or exercised in that time. Guess it melted off!

How weird, the same thing happened to me last night! I weighed myself at 3 am cuz I got up to pee and then at about 7 am, after a "Big" trip to the bathroom, I was down 1.5,so I guess I may have lost 1.5 in 1 day on the CSD! and yes, I know it's water weight (and crap, sorry)but anything will do!
The best thing is NOT to weigh ourselves all the time, bu i can't help it! I'm obcessd wih the scale while I'm dieting! When I'm being "BAD" you won't catch me on the scale, EVER!!
