Well Chanel we are all in the same boat so to speak, I need to lose about 20 and stared at 172.5. I am on day three
And it is very important to make soup that tastes good to you. so variations you might like to try because by day 5, 6 and 7 you will need it: here are some that I found
1/2 cup chopped flat leaf parsle & 3 to 4 fresh oregano leaves, crushed
2 tea who caraway seeds, 3 sprigs fresh thyme, 1/3 cup cider vinegar
3 t 4 tea chili powder & 2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
I usually blend a can of diced tomato's that have some jalapeno in them in my entire batch or I will add red curry poweder to give it a kick
Keep me posted

So Far, I love the soup.. I couldn't even finish the whole bowl. I used some Jalepeno tabasco sauce to spice it up because that helps me ensure I get my water in for the day.. I also made a giant bowl of chopped fruit and had maybe a cup with breakfast. I am looking forward to lunch now!

Nancy, those are great ideas for spicing up soup! I will definitely try them on my next round.
Welcome, Jennifer, I am rooting for you. Wow, joining the air force is a terrific goal!! Keep focused on that and you'll do great!!

(I'm Jennifer, too, and the wedding was last weekend, so I've been calling myself Just Jen now...since fitting in the dress is no longer the goal--it did fit!)
