I am not a red meat fan bu I love this recipe for Day 5. Also can be rolled up into some boiled (or raw) cabbage leaves and you'll have a great cabbage roll-up. A nice change to just a bowl of soup. Good luck all!
1 large can v-8 juice
2 TBSP. chili powder
2 TBSP. cumin powder (makes it a little spicy)
1 large green pepper
1 large onion
2 large cans diced tomatos
3-4 lbs. lean hamburger meat ( I buy ground round not as greasy and fry my meat with the green pepper and onion.)
Brown hamburger meat and drain. Add meat to other ingredients simmer for a couple of hours in crock pot. ENJOY! This makes enough for your family or to freeze for your next DAY 5.
