Fruit Smoothies
1) Add your choice of fruits fresh, frozen from the store, or from your freezer (when we have fruit that I know will not get eaten before it gets too ripe, I freeze it)
2) 1 cup of ice
3) liquid, if desired
4) blend and enjoy!!
Banana and pineapple
Banana and strawberry
Banana and raspberries
Banana and blueberries
Banana, mango and peach
Banana and mango
Banana, raspberry and pear
Banana and peach
Banana, peach and apricto
NON- BANANA SMOOTHIES
Peach and raspberry
Peach and mango
Kiwi, honeydew, and apple
Peach, papaya and mango
Raspberry strawberry and blueberry
Kiwi and strawberry
Blackberry and peach
Raspberry, papaya and mango
and the list is endless........
If you need liquid and do not want to use water or cranberry juice, try squeezing in some orange juice. Watermellon is also a great source of liquid and sweetner!!

i love smoothies!! i would rather make a few smoothies on the fruit days than eat all the fruit. i still eat it too, but this is so yummy. on the weeks your off the diet, you can add fat free frozen yogurt or regular yogurt to make it more filling.

After reading all these post the lights just went on - I'm on day 2 and went to Jamba Juice and ordered Carrot Juice drink -great stuff! It was a treat for me since i'm used to going out for lunch all the time! Tomorrow on day 3 will go back to J Juice and order me the tallest Fruit smoothie! Anyone out there have "hypothyroid" condition and are trying this?? I'm surprised that i'm not falling out on day 2 but i'm holding up and not so hungry like i thought - i'm counting the minutes when i get off work to go home and tear into my baked potatoe and steamed asparagus!

Another great thing to do with fruit is grill it! Somehow it really brings out the juices and the sweetness. Last night on day 3 as I was grilling my asparagus and zucchini, I slapped a couple of thick slices of fresh pineapple on the grill too. That was delicious!! Might have been my favorite meal so far...except for the baked potato, of course! ha ha

On banana day it says just eat soup, bananas and milk. To me that means no other fruit or veggies that day. Maybe that's why I hate banana day!
