
First, I just want to say this this is a great forum and everyone seems so positive and supportive. I was so happy recently to find this site!
The CSD seemed really perfect for my needs at the moment, so I'm doing it for the first time. I'm on day 5 right now, and still have seen zero weight loss. (I know I should probably have put away the scale at the beginning). I'm still planning on finishing out the 7 days, but if I haven't lost anything I'll be totally depressed. I've followed it exactly (with the exception of omitting a couple of the soup ingredients).
Also, just out of curiosity, has anyone consumed alcohol during this? Did it completely derail you?

I have read that alcohol will keep your body from metabolizing fat as an energy source for the next 48 hours. Can't explain the science behind that statement, but I've seen that more than once.
Sorry to hear you are disappointed with your results. For me it is not unusual to get to day 4 with minimal loss (1/2 to 2 pounds). But usually I wake up on day 6 close to 6 pounds lighter.
Everyone is different, but if you don't have much to lose, or if you were dieting before starting the CSD, then your results won't be as dramatic.

Thanks, LeAnn - Today is my day 8 and I'm six pounds lighter, all of a sudden. I'm definitely happy with that.
