I know crazy question. But I started this yesterday and have no problem just eating the fruit and drinking the water but for dinner I gagged my way through about 1/2 bowl of soup and I cannot stand it. My husband who is not even doing the diet tried some and loved it but I swear I can smell it through my whole house and it makes me sick to think of opening the fridge. It is weird because it is not the taste it tastes ok its like just the thought of the cabbage because the cabbage alone smells bitter and just gross. Today I've done great just veggies and water and some tea but I do not want the soup. Will I still lose weight w/out the soup or should I just try something else?

I tried it once without the soup not because I didn't like it, but because I was too lazy to make it!! I did try to eat a lot of the veggies that go in the soup raw. I didn't lose much weight that way though. But, you might have better luck! Right now, I am on my 2nd go of the 3DD. I love this diet! I have lost about 5 pounds so far. This is day 3 of the 2nd time and I'm thinking about starting again tomorrow. I really enjoy the food I get to eat and I find that I'm not craving a lot of carbs or processed foods like I was before. You might want to give it a try!

Actually there is a posting in an old post somewhere that has a person loosing tons of weight without the soup. Do a search (top blue line, 'search) and look for it. I think it said something like: "IF you hate the soup". I already have routed people in that direction that had the same question but I'm srry I really don't remember exactly where it was!

Thanks twilight. I looked it up and I found mixed reviews some still lost w/out soup some said no you have to have the soup and some said why in the world would you do this diet if you can't eat the soup. My thing is I didn't know how bad it would be until I started it and I"m doing so well w/ everything else. I have the willpower and I really want to lose the weight so I can go by all the other rules so I'll give it a shot and hope it works. Think positive. I have actually lost 2 lbs so far so can't complain.
Thanks for your encouragement and positive response! One ore quick question since you seem so knowledgeable about this.....haver you heard of the cabbage pills and do you think that would work?

The CS pills, Yes, I've heard of them, but I think the whole thing behind the soup is not some crazy chemical reaction behind the combination of ingrediants, but the ingrediants are amoung the "negative Calorie" ingrediants so you can fill up on it and not "gain" anything. I wouldn't waste your money on those pills, if you don't like the soup, just follow the plan...it is way under the normal calorie content and the actual food is what works with your system. Also, you may want to try the 3 day diet, or one of the other ones posted./#
Did you actually 'find' the diet regiman from long ago that the person did and lost like 60 pounds? If not, I will search for it and "bump it up" for you to see.
