Re: Is V8 juice OK?

Yes but not too much as it has a high salt content.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Re: Is V8 juice OK?

Try the low sodium V8.  In fact, for weeks where I didn't have time to make the soup, I have followed the 7-day plan and used V8 in its place.  Still works.

Re: Is V8 juice OK?

You just have to watch the sodium, but I will drink typically 3 of those 6 oz cans a day.  One with each meal.  And then stick to the rest of the plan.

For me it is not the ideal way to follow the diet because it lacks the discipline of the soup.  If I have made the soup, I know that I must make it go away.

But this week, for example, I am away for home and office and really have no options.  I have some left over soup that I will take with me for the first 3 days (my daughter tried this last week and didn't finish), drink it blended and cold (ick!) then I will need to improvise as best I can for the remaining part of the week.

Good luck!
