I've done the three day diet twice. First time lost 2 1/2 pounds and I was so busy on the third day that I skipped half the food. Second time lost like three pounds and cheated on day three with a piece of pizza. Sally has also done it losing 3 pounds the 1st time and 2 pounds the 2nd time. Others have done it too, but I can't remember their results off the top of my head.
I wouldn't skip the ice cream. I get the Light Vanilla and it definitely helps keep you from cheating and gives you something to look forward to! And the diet works with it!
Also, I know that Sally has tried changing things up before and didn't lose.

So basically you lose a pound a day. Thats terrible, I want to lose more, so I guess I could keep going back to day one after day 3. The diet does say you can lose up to 10lbs, what a lie.

I guess the green tea is fine, honestly it is so good for you I don't know how it can hurt!
A pound a day is a lot, I think. I know it says up to ten pounds in 3 days but that isn't even really realistic. I think that this diet is easy, and quick, and to lose 3 pounds on it is great!
