I'm starting csd tomorrow. I'm just finishing 3dd today. I'll do it tomorrow. But I don't think I'll do just 6 days insted of 7. I didn't have a huge amount of luck with the soup last time. But I got a blender yestruday and hopefully that helps.

I am starting today too, I just want to loose 14 pounds, and I should loose half of that in this next week (my fingers are crossed, similarly toes and eyes). I wish you luck with your efforts. Post how you do.

(and everyone else) I too just started today. I did this diet many years ago...and it definately works. However, there are a few things that I noticed last time such as having decreased energy, and some dizziness at times. It is recommended that you take a multivitamin everyday, which I am doing this time. One error I think I made the last time was that I ate the soup like crazy the first couple days, and didnt so much as want to even look at it in the final few!
Moderation is key lol. Great idea making up the fruit salad in advance. Its great having the support network here. Good luck girls!!

Petal here from Cape Town, South Africa. I started the CSD today (sat 21/7) so I`m just a day behind you.. I hate hate hate!!!!! water but have managed to drink 4 x 500ml bottles so far. I quite like the soup but not hugely keen on fruit... so day one has been a little tiresome!!
ha ha. Very much looking forward to day 2 though, as I love veg and the thought of a baked potato with BUTTER really spurs me on
Anyway, Will drop a line again tomorrow.

Wow!! First thing I did when I woke up this morning, was usual pee, brush teeth etc then straight onto the scale.. I know we shouldnt weigh ourselves constantly, but with all the hype on the CSD its a little too tempting.. Anyway, I really cant believe what I saw! 3.3 pounds GONE GONE GONE!!!! can you believe that? and only day one AND I cheated!

I decided in my wisdom that depriving myself completely would not work for me. Going from 4 to five cups of coffee per day with milk and sugar and at least 1 chocolate bar and endless slices of bread per day, to absolutely nil would surely kill me... so here`s my Cabbage Soup Diary:-
DAY ONE (fruit and soup)
First cup of coffee of the day with 1 brown sugar and full cream milk.
Thereafter 3 x black coffee.
Heaps and heaps of Cabbage soup throughout the day. (ate at least 8 bowls)
4x 500ml bottles still water.
I slice wholewheat bread with butter and peanut butter.
500g fresh strawberries
250g seedless green grapes.
1 ruby grapefruit.
1 orange.
It worked for me and I feel pretty good today. Losing 3.3 pounds on day one has given me a real boost so I`m ready to start day two with all the zest I can muster. I found that keeping myself busy was a great help and I took a double dose of my usual "Moducare" (a fantastic immune booster that Ive been taking for years)
