recipes

I have done this once and was successful. But as I am considering starting again I began to think of new ideas. Does anyone know why you couldn't use all of the ingredients in the soup in different forms. Like making a stuffed pepper with all of the ingredients in it or making the cabbage muchrooms ect. into a stir fry or just cooking them seperatly to get different flavors. I would still make the soup but is it ok to do some of these things to get some variity? If it is the combination of foods then if you were eating them together it seems you would get the same results. I am not sure if my thinking is correct.

Re: recipes

Hi Rieley!

I'm pretty sure you can prepare any of the soup ingredients as meals to add variety to the days.  This diet is just a matter of eating low calories and whole foods, so I don't see why this would be a problem.  Just make sure you aren't adding fat to your cooking, such as butter, etc.

Hope this helps!

Re: recipes

I usually make a hugh stir fry with the cabbage, celery, carrots, peppers and onions..haven't tied to make stuffed peppers...but that is comming I see it in my future.  I may even brown a little ground turkey on day 5 and throw it in a pepper along with veggies!

Re: recipes

I would still do the soup at least once a day and that is usually how I do it anyway, soup for lunch then a meal in the eve made with veggies fixed in different ways.  Makes it seem more like a treat if I have a veggie meal planned
