Sweet Potato question

Hi There,

I was wondering if a sweet potato counts as a standard vegetable that can be eaten on any of the vegetable days or if it counts as a regular potato that can only be eaten on potato days?

My wife and I are going to be starting the CSD tomorrow and this info would help us to make further plans.

Thanks.

Re: Sweet Potato question

I hate to break the news to you but it is considered just like a potato so only on day 2!

Re: Sweet Potato question

OMG...Then i messed up b/c i took the yam to be a vegetable and ate half on veggie day and half on fruit/veggie day.

Can you take a laxitive on this diet? I have lots of gas from the cabbage.  I've done this diet before and did loose 19lbs in the week.  You are suppose to lose 10lbs in 3 days if you don't cheat.  I am to do the bananas and milk tomorrow but I hate bananas but will try to eat three/four of them. Cannot drink any type of milk so tomorrow will be very hard for me with just soup and bananas.  I did walk today and will contiune to do that.

Anyway..hang in there everyone and remember self discipline is the tool needed to convince others.smiley-first
