Day 4 alternate suggestions??

I am ready to start my CSD tomorrow, however, I have a problem with Day 4.  I can't eat bananas and I don't like milk at all!  Are there any alternate foods to eat on that day?  Can I just eat all the soup I want? I don't mind eating some other milk products, such as yogurt.  Any suggestons??

I did a little research and found that cantaloupe is similar nutritionally to bananas, so I plan to substitute with that on day 4.

Also, I just do not like milk at all and so I'm thinking I will eat a couple of fat free yogurts instead.  Don't really like that either, but can handle it better than milk.

I plan on the soup as being my primary meal for that day.  Has anyone had any luck with substitutions before???........

I'm trying not to stray too far from the core diet, but get something in there that I know won't make me sick to my stomach or kick in the gag reflex (that's what milk does to me!!)

Try Silk, or some other brand of soy milk. It is better than  milk in my opinion and it has alot of protien.

Hi - I didn't know if you CAN'T EAT BANANAS due to some allergy, or you DON'T LIKE BANANAS.  I'd suggest a smoothie I make 'just because' - possibly this will help you out.  If you CAN'T EAT BANANAS, leave them out - then do this:

Put in 1/2 cup of SOY MILK (The silk brand is pretty good)
Add 1 teaspoon imitation vanilla
Add a handful of Strawberries
Put in 1/2 cup of canned peaches (canned in water)
Now put in 1/2 of a banana (if you can eat it)
Open up a box of instant vanilla pudding mix; put the remaining portion into a small container, and plop in 2 to 3 teaspoons of pudding mix to thicken and make it even tastier.
To add the needed potassium, and if you like, THEN ADD ABOUT 3 DRIED APRICOTS - they'll often wind up as little 'tidbits' of good stuff you'll drink because they [/align]don't easily blend into a smooth consistency

If you do this, you'll replace the needed potassium; the 'milk' will taste pretty darned good, and the pudding mix makes a nice 'thickening agent'.

You'll be adding calories on this, so I'd be careful about just HOW MUCH you drink on this day - but you can dump in a pile of ice cubes into your glass; pour the drink over it, and drink it quickly.  You'll take in less of the 'drink mixture' - the cubes displace the liquid, and the GOOD COLD CUBES will perk you up!
