Can i have salt in my soup

Hi all

As i'm typing this, my soup is boiling. I have just added salt to this, is this okay?

Yes you can put salt in your soup, and pepper too..... and parsley....

If you add chicken or beef bouillion cubes it has all the salt you need.  I added 2 chicken bouilion cubes to mine and it was plenty salty without having to add table salt.  Just a thought!  smiley-biggrin

i've been using salt lots in my soup (along with lots of crushed red pepper for flavor) and it's been fine... day 6 and 7.5 lbs gone!  other "extras" i've used this week are lemon pepper (LOTS), soy sauce, and just a couple dashes of splenda and cinnamon for one of the banana recipes listed in this section.  check it out!
