This was a list that I got from this site in February 2006 and it helped me so much, I just tucked it in my purse and had it with me whenever I went grocery shopping:
NEGATIVE CALORIE VEGETABLES Asparagus---Beets---Broccoli---Green Cabbage---Carrots---Cauliflower---Celery---Cucumbers---Lettuces---White Onions---Radishes---Garlic---Spinach---Green Beans---Turnips---Zucchini---Crookneck---Summer Squashes.
FAT BURNING VEGETABLES Artichokes---Greens---Mushrooms---Brussel Sprouts---Okra---Parsnips---Peppers, ALL---Chives---Rutabaga---Eggplant---Butternut Squash
NEGATIVE CALORIE FRUITS Apple---Cranberries (fresh, not dried)---Grapefruit---Lemon---Mango---Oranges---Pineapple---Strawberries---Tangerines---Raspberries---Papaya---Blackberries---Cantaloupe
FAT BURNING FRUITS Limes---Apricots---Mango---Blueberry---Nectarines---Papaya---Peaches---Cherries---Pears---Rhubarb---Grapes---Watermelon
FAT BURNING MEATS Lobster---Mussels---Oysters---Clams---Cod Fish---Crab---Flounder---Sea Bass---Shrimp---Lean Beef---Skinless Chicken---Lean Pork.
This is by NO means a COMPLETE List, but it is all I could find. Hope it helps all of YOU, as it did me.
I hope this helps you new dieters because there is a lot of variety here to keep the diet interesting. One of my favorite fruit salads is mango, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Make up a big ol' bowl of it and have it for Days 1 and 3. Enjoy.
Good luck.

The list is great! I actually have the entire neg calorie diet with the complete list but it is not broken down into neg food and fat burning foods. It is just the complete list of what you can and should not eat while doing the neg cal diet.
If you would like a copy just let me know Nancy

i am using a soup mix (no Lipton's available where i live); it has a lot of barley in it - is it the same thing? All replies greatfully received; am at day 4, but only drinking soup; am in a hurry to lose weight for a special occasion

Lipton soup mix does not have any grains in it. I have a "lipton soup" recipe that you can make at home and I will post it tomorrow. (don't have it avail right now). I don't put any soup mix in mine just because I have to watch my sodium. I just chop a little extra onion put a big container of chicken or veggie broth and water. And if I want a bit spicier I use a small can of diced tomatoes with jalepenio's
