Hi I started the diet for the first time on Monday. Here is the recipe I made that tastes quite tasty. Let me know your thoughts. :0)
3 onions diced 2 green capsicum diced 1/2 cabbage cut into bite size pieces 2 carrots diced 1 can of whole tomato's 1 jar of V8 juice (vegie juice) carton of Campbells beef stock liquid 2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoon Teriyaki Sauce 1 tablespoon white wine vinigar
In a large saucepan fry onion and capsicum, add all other ingredients and simmer for about 1 hour, longer if required. Once cooked blend with hand held blender directly in saucepan until all ingredients are blended. season with salt and pepper to taste.
Very tasty!!!!!

Sounds wonderful, I think everyone has different variations that they love and that is why we like the soup so well

How is day 3 going for you Nancy? I am likeing it the best so far as there is more of a variety between the soup, fruit and veg. I'm not sure how tomorrow is going to go though. Although I like bannana's I can't imagine eating 8 of them. I'm ready to give it a go though!
today I started with a V8 juice for breakfast withmixed fruit (pear, grapes and 1/2 an apple).
Lunch I am having my soup with a huge salad of lettuce, rocket, tomatoe & cucumber with balsamic vinigar (not sure if I am supposed to have vinigar)???
Dinner
Stir fry - cabbage, onion, capsicum, zuccini, snow peas, squash with terriyaki sauce
Dessert - fruit salad
Would like to hear what was on your menu if you have a chance.

hi nancy thankyou so much for that recipe! it was great. i tried it and loved it! i was looking at the soup when it was cooked thinking to myself how in earth was i going to be able to eat this all day for the next 7 days but i percevered and blended it with the blender and it was great! you cant even taste the cabbage lol. im going to try another soup tomorrow so i can alternate the 2 so i dont get too sick of the same thing. once again thankyou and if anyone out there has trouble eating the basic recipe try this and make sure you blend it. it makes all the difference thanks Donna

cheeky glad you liked it, the most important thing to remember is make the soup with the veggies you like, remember you will be eating this everyday for 7 days and maybe even beyond
