I started the csd several weeks ago and lost 8 lbs in a week. I screwed up majorly the weeks after because of the holidays. Alcohol and desserts were the main culprits.
I'm going shopping for the menu tomorrow and will start on Wednesday. Back on the horse again.
Anyone else starting Wednesday can be my diet buddy please?!
Good luck 2 us all

I would love to be your buddy.  I used this diet 3 years ago and if you're faithful to it you can lose the weight. Most importantly you can lose the bloat. But DO NOT drink that ruins the whole thing.
I too am starting this on 1/3/06.  After losing my job as an executive I decided to use my brains and looks and go get another job. To heck with the politicking.  Unfortunately, in my new industry it's really important to be thin and healthy. I'm 40 and don't look it until you go from my knees to my waist. I have got to change the bottom appearance and lose about 15lbs. Quick!!

TRIVIA: This is actually the GM Diet. They developed it when all of their top execs were so overweight their health insurance premiums hit the roof. Lead by example!   They put everyone at risk on the diet from the top down!

I'm just concerned that it may play heck with my digestive system. About 2 years ago I had emergency surgery and they removed an ovary that was the size of a softball and stuck to my bladder, lower intestines, etc., I'm fairly certain that the resulting scar tissues have made other things more difficult to function. Anyone have any idea about this diet overworking kidneys, etc.?  I know you end up  in the bathroom constantly. Can it create a urinary tract infection?
