It’s taken me ages to find this site. A lady who was in my evening class told me about it. She lost 5 stones doing the Cabbage Soup and said that this site kept her on the straight and narrow.
I’m middle aged, married for 32 years and at the moment weigh in at 14 stones and would like to get down to 12. I lost 3 stones this year using the Cambridge, but it’s too expensive and I felt half starved on it. I developed a rash and never felt well.  I hope I can stick to the cabbage.
I’ll need a lot of support! Can you use weight trackers on here?

Hello Bramble and bex....I'm not sure about the weight tracking Bramble...maybe someone else will post concerning this.............  bex....4#!...that's wonderful...you must be doing it right.  Some lose quite a bit right off, and others lose it more towards the end of the 7 days. In any case good luck to both of you.............

I can only post a link to the ticker... never mind.

Well I started day 1 on Monday and let me tell you that after the Cambridge Diet it was like a banquet! This is the only diet that isn't trying to sell you something isn't it? I was paying £40 a week for the Cambridge, and yes, at first was losing a packet of weight but for the last month is has been under ilb a week and then they wanted me to do a month on790 cals, then another month on 1000 cals... I would have been bankrupt!

My fellow evening classer said to come here and I think I've done the right thing. I'm going to weigh on Sunday, will let you know how i get on but in the meantime thank you for your welcome and your posts on other threads are inspirational.

By the way, I was told it was mainly Americans on here... any other Brits?

Hello Bramble....Yes, the diet costs you nothing, isn't that great!  You know, it is hard to stay on a diet where you can't eat alot of a least SOMETHING.  There are days on this diet that you can eat till your heart's content of what is allowed for that day.  Spend that hard earned money on the best food you care to buy to make the diet enjoyable.

As far as other Brits...I think there are some....if you are here Brits...please let Bramble know of you...............

Hey I propose that you take the money you have saved dong the csd and spend it on the new clothes you will need when that weight comes rolling off LOL

I did  ~~~~ but then again I had to revert to the "fat" clothes and now am looking forward to fitting into my new clothes a second time LOL

I'll say!!! I already have lost a huge bucket of lard and people I haven't seen for a while are walking past me because they don't recognize me. I just got to a stage where the Cambridge seemed more like a money making thing than a weight loss aid.
Day 5 for me... fish:)

Hey Bex..How's it going?
