Hey CSD Followers,
I am going to start a new CSD Week Challenge, we got many tips and support this past week so I am sure we can do the best of this coming week challenge. If you are also starting today join us, everybody is welcome!

I hope is fine I put you guys on this thread; you both are the best buddies ever so I wanted to count with you on this week, I have my friend's bachellorette party this coming saturday, we will just go to dance, her wedding is next saturday, I hope I can reach at least 130Lbs by then, I will work really hard.
THE CSD DIET WEEK 
Let's start our first day by writing our weight and measurements

That's so sweet. Than you so much. I'm honored.
I'm not weighing myself daily at the minute, I'm waiting for my CSD day 8, which will be Wednesday. So today is my Day 6. I was 188lbs last Wednesday morning. I'll do my measurements later and post them here.
Good luck slimming down for your friends' wedding. I'm sure you can do it. You certainly have the motivation, and we're all here to support you.

I also started the diet on the 22nd April 2007. Till now i am doing great. What about you guys?

Right I found you lol! Couldn't miss it really. I'm really sorry but I have to start Tuesday as I HAD to take my son out for his 18th birthday meal and they didn't serve cabbage soup! lol! It was the only time he could fit me in cheek!!! It was meant to be at the weekend but I think his hangover was too bad. So instead of dieting I had to drive 3 hours to London as he lives there and back home 3 hours again most of it in flipping traffic, still it was worth it to see him!!! So I am at day 1 tomorrow again but this time I'm using the cabbage diet pills instead of the soup as I really don't think I could stomach another bowl of it. If I find I am too hungry with the pills I'll make the soup on day 2 I'm gagging just thinking about it!
Ok I got on the scales and this is what they say!!!
No seriously 138lbs exactly and that is this evening. Incidently how do you two get on the scales? Watching me would be a laugh as I precariously step on the scales leaning to one side
I am 5" 4'
You two will finish before me now and I will be so jealous!!!
In case you haven't seen this posting this is a photo of me last summer when I weighed a whopping 161lbs and yes the chair had collapsed with my weight lol! Just thought you needed to see the before. I look a lot better than that now but still want to lose another 7lbs or so but at least I am nearer to my target weight.
P.S I'm honoured too and thanks for including me it is just the support I need!

Hey everyone! This seems like a really great support group! Can I join in the fun?? I am on day two of the diet and I've been doing okay. I have cheated a couple times but not too bad I don't think. I am very excited for my baked potato tonight although I don't know if I really deserve it! I have been making lunch/dinner for my fiance and I can't helped but to try a bite. It's really only been a bite though so not TOO BAD! Tonight I'm going to have my potato, some corn on the cob and some other grilled veggies. I wouldn't need anything more, hopefully! I will weigh myself in the morning and let everyone know how I've been doing after two days. Good luck to everyone!

I am following the diet "tight", I had a litttle personal problem but I haven't gone off the wagon, I just hope I can keep up with this. It's 6pm and I am still up with the diet, but I felt like getting off track right after lunch, funny huh? ![]()
The willpower felt weak, So, I had to work with my mind and started thinking about "How easy it would be to fail again to myself, to another diet, so typical of me... then I would go back to my circle of sorrows and pitty about myself about my overweight", so... at the end... I didn't go off wagon, Victory!!! yeeeeeeeeeeh!

Like somebody said once, "It's all in our minds, If we really want something, we should be able to get it whatever our goal is", I think this person was all right.

and I think you were planning to get some tan also, sweetie It's ok to start the CSD tomorrow; I think also Paragon will start tomorrow and I don't mind to join again 1st day, actually I prefer it jeje
For you Luckykel and Odettebonett or any other dieter, you guys are more than welcome to join us, the idea is to have a real support team cause this diet is a heck of a challenge and we need all the support we can get to overcome this challenge.
I decided to change meat by tuna on meat day, anyway read meat has lots of calories and I don't really like red meat. Please ladies, let's share our menus and ideas to make the best from our ingredients, to overcome this diet.
You guys are the best support team ever!

Bad news 
I didn't know but it seems I was pregnant, my hubby and I were surprised but now I am having a miscarriage. Girls stay in track and do your best.

Guys its day 3. Already had a bowl of bran flakes with some milk.
I got some kiwi, grapes and mandarin to work.
I will be making a stir fry with veg after work and a bowl of soup.

Oh blow I missed her any way she'd gone off line before I posted. Charito let us know how you are I have been really worried about you diet buddy!
Well I've made my soup and am struggling to eat it!!! Roasted veg are cooking as I type I'm starving but at least I've been at work today which takes my mind off eating. I forgot to get more fruit but I have two types of melon to eat at least, the trouble is I seem to have a tummy ache today!
I thought this pic went well with this diet lol!
Still at least I have made it through day one nearly which means only 6 days to go!!!

Thank you Girls,
For all your words of support and prayers, I feel ok, a little sad but only God knows if I will ever be able to be called "mommy", I am 33y.o. so I guess I can still keep some hopes, we will see. This is not my first miscarriage so it hurts even more but I was so out of myself after my dad died exactly 2 months ago from cancer. As I said, only God know why we have to face this proofs.
Daddy, I send you all my love on this your second month in the heaven, I miss you without limits but you are better there now, be with my brother Jaime, your son and enjoy together of the paradise. God bless them in heaven. Amen.
As you girls understand now I can't be on a No-protein diet, after all the bleeding but the doctor gave me an alternative diet jeje, I told him how worry I was about losing weight and beside my supplements for bone marrow production for my red blood cells, he gave me this diet, it also lats 7 days and it looks yummy, so I will follow you girls doing this diet.

Ok Girls, now I just want to share this my new diet, maybe you can try it in between your breaks from CSD, just an idea.

Is that a photo of you and your dad? what a lovely photo and you are gorgeous looking your husband is very lucky.
I can only say from my own experience that I had one miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy in my 20s when I nearly died and I ended up pregnant aged 32 and that was with only one ovary and a few gyny operations later and yes it was against all odds and despite a difficult pregnancy, several months of bed rest and a lot of that in hospital [I gained 5 stone in weight 70lbs!] I had a healthy son who is now 18!!! I will pray that things work out for the two of you I'm sure they will.
That diet looks great when you starting then? I would love to follow that one with you as to be honest I am sick of the cabbage soup one. We could do it together and chat on here still how about it???

I also had a miscarriage but went on to have two healthy babies, so I am sure you will be able to have children Charito.
I just went out and bought all the food I will be eating next week. I am going to try this eating plan:

It looks like a balanced calorie-counted (1300 calories) plan. Maybe I will be able to lose a couple of ounds on it nothing drastic. But after that I will join you on the Hax Planch diet. I never heard of that one before. 20lbs in 2 weeks and you won't gain weight afterwards? Sounds too good to be true (so it probably isn't) but you'll surely lose some weight on it, it looks very low cal.

I was wondering, where are guys located?
I live in Chicago, IL (US) 
I am feeling much better, I hope to recover from this really soon, I still plan to eat healthy, well, right now I can't be on CSD strictly I mean with no proteins at all, but I will try to do a healthy diet for now, Paragon I liked the diet you put, it seems really yummy. About this Hax Planch, it can work for the week off betweeb CSD, and it's truth because my husband lost 20 Pounds in 2 weeks but he said it was tough, eventhough it doesn't look as tough as CSD right?
SALLY I understand that you feel bored about this diet, as I said before we need to work with our mind to overcome succesfully this diet but I know it's totally effective.
Girls I hope you can share a little with me, for example where are you located?
Sally, did you go over the whole day respecting your diet?
Paragon what was your weightloss for these past week? I hope a lot

Ah location wow Chicago it sounds so grand!!! I have never been there I have been to Florida and California doing the Disney parks with the kids, great fun especially Florida! Driving in LA was real scarey!!!!
I come from London England but now live on the south coast of England the middle of the bottom so on the coast a place called Portsmouth. We are however in the throws of moving to Wales [you can get a lot more house for our money there!!!] and I want to give up work as I'm going deaf and this is making my job, which is teaching, very difficult!!! When there I want to do bed and breakfast for an income. My hubby has to work all over the UK so it doesn't really matter where we live if anything in Wales he is more central for the UK. Have you been to the UK?
OK the diet. I have been excellent today I'm proud of myself because I have to say it is harder everytime I start this diet you would think it would get easier wouldn't you? This is my 6th strict week. However tonight I have a splitting headache which is caffeine withdrawal I think! I haven't downed much soup though my main food has been roasted veg which I love and water melon. I was working in the afternoon which kept my mind off food [school dinners are certainly not a temptation to me!]
Right I'm off to bed now day two tomorrow!!!

I'm also in the UK, near Manchester.
I lost 7lbs! I'm so pleased, I was aiming for 4. I just had a bowl of cereal and it felt like an indulgence after 7 days of strict CSD.
I've been doing a workout DVD too, I'm going to do that three times a week from now on. Do any of you do workout DVDs, or do you go to a gym, or what other exercise do you take?

As regards to location i come from Malta... An island in the Mediterranean. 
I came to Portsmouth last Year Sally 22. My aunt lives in Hertforshire and we travelled all over England.
I am on Day 4 today - Banana Day. I did not weigh myself as yet but i am sure i lost some lbs ... can feel it.
I think today is the hardest day of all... only bananas and milk + soup. but as the saying goes...
NO PAIN NO GAIN.
I am really looking forward for day 5, 6 and 7 .
Both diets mentioned earliered seems very good... i will try the one of Charito for sure.
btw i really like that picture Charito. I am sure your Dad is praying for you.

Parogon love the picture my favourite programme!
Regarding exercise I am a PE teacher so work out with the kids when working but that is gentle as they are young. I walk and swim when I can as well. I never got into those DVD exercise things they are not really me! I don't go to the gym at the moment so expensive here but I'm lucky as the new house, which is a business as well, I'm moving to, has a pool and gym set up [one of the reasons for moving so much more for your money in Wales!] so I intend swimming and working out properly each day then.
Wow you have done so well 7lbs even my first week on this I only lost 6lbs well done 

Malta, lovely, sun and seal sounds glorious. I would love to go there as I haven't been there. I gather it is good for scuba diving so my youngest son wants to go there as he is getting diving qualifications. He's been doing them in Spain so far as we go there all the time in fact we nearly moved there!
I'm just starting day 2 and looking forward to the baked potato and it is only 8 in the morning! I've got to go out and get more veg today as I ate all I had yesterday, before I pig out on something I shouldn't.

Yes Malta is lovely in summer expecially for scuba diving.
Its very similar to Spain in fact , even the people.
I loved Portsmith. Wales is nice as well... i think you're gonna love it there. I am going to Scotland in 2 weeks time with my husband for a holiday

Hello everybody! Sorry that I haven't posted. I want to start by saying that I am definitely praying for you Charito. I'm sure with God you'll make it through these tough times!
I am starting day 4 on the diet and I have been cheating A LOT! yesterday I didn't pretty good however for lunch I put a couple little pieces of chicken on my salad, ( I know totally against the rules). But I do go to the gym a lot to exersize. I've been doing strictly cardio for the first couple of days but today I am doing a strength class which requires some protein in your body. I cheated but hopefully I'll still see results! I made a new batch of soup yesterday and I'm exctied to try it today. I'm lieing I am definitely not excited to eat any more soup! Today is banana and skim milk day for me. I am going out to buy a blender today so I can make a banana shake! YUMMY!~
Luckily I have to work tonight from 3-11pm so I should have my mind off food for the evening. I am from Chicago also!! I work for the Chicago White Sox which is a really fun job and I'm also a mortgage banker.

Charito, that would be me!... doing a non CSD, because obvious reasons, right now I can't be without proteins. I am feeling better and I think I am going to my friend's meeting on saturday so I need a short diet, in my stuff I found this 3 Day Diet, take a look...
It seems that we are all really into this. Luckykel, please let us know how much do you lose if you add some protein to the CSD, that could be a pilot experiment, I love this things. 
Hey, I also live in Chicago but just for 4 years, I was born in a nice place called Peru, 
My loving land, where I became a physician in 2002 but then God had other plans for me and now I am here trying to get my medical license, with God's help hopefully at the end of this year I can have my MD, that is my huge goal, well beside recovering my figure which I lost since I came to US. It was overwhelming to meet all these fast food jeje
Ok Girls, keep up the good work, we will see results only if we work hard enough to deserve it!
