Here is my modified version of this diet without any soup and some small changes. As of today, 9 straight weeks on it, and 60.5 pounds lost. Started at 323 on January 2nd, and 262.5 now. My regimen is 6 days, and on the 7th day I eat whatever I want. Here is what each day entails, and some of things I do on each day to make it work for me.
Day One:
Fruit: Eat all of the fruit you want except bananas. For drinks- unsweetened teas, cranberry juice and water (I only drink flavored fruit20 water for all 6 days).
Day Two:
Vegetables: Eat until you are stuffed will all fresh, raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. Try to eat leafy green vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn. Do not eat fruit today. I take 6 red peppers and 2 big onions and chop that all up in a pan coated with pam no fat olive oil spray and bake it in the oven for 1 hour on 385 degrees. I also use only red wine vinegar on any salad I make.
Day Three:
Mix Days One and Two: Eat all the fruits and vegetables you want (again no bananas, dry beans, peas, or corn).
Day Four:
Bananas and Skim Milk: Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day. This day is supposed to lessen your desire for sweets. I buy the "skim plus" skim milk which tastes better. I use 2 bananas with 2 cups of skim plus, 1 Tbsp vanilla extract, and 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon and 5 or 6 ice cubes to make a shake that I drink all during day to get the milk in me, and then eat my other 6 bananas throughout the day while drinking my fruit 20 waters too.
Day Five:
Beef, Tomatoes, and Brown rice: Ten to twenty ounces of beef (I usually buy a steak that weighs over 1 pound for this day because after I trim the fat and remove the bone it's about 12 ounces of edible beef), up to six fresh tomatoes, and 1 cup brown rice (measured after cooking). I usually eat 1 or 2 tomatoes in the morning, 1 or 2 tomatoes in the afternoon, and then save my rice and steak for dinner with another tomatoe or 2. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water on this day to wash the uric acid from your body. You may eat broiled or baked chicken instead of beef (but absolutely no skin-on chicken).
Day Six:
Beef, Beef, and More Beef: Eat to your heart's content of beef on this day. You can even have 2 or 3 steaks if you like. I usually eat a steak for breakfast, a steak for lunch, and a steak for dinner.
Good Luck!!

Thats sounds pretty much where you need to be, so why start a very hard diet like this?
Seeing as how you are very close (if not right at) your target weight, you may not lose anything, and as a matter offact, if you do lose anything it will most likely be muscle and not fat.

Hey man...
Read other posts!
All your questions will be answered!
ALSO... The soup is necessary.
Cabbage Soup itself has been used for centuries for its healing abilities and detoxifying effects.
The diet that other guys is doing is far more complicated than just a 7 day clean out your body diet like this is...
AFTER the intitial 7 days REMEMBER you are supposed to get on a more nutritious and sustainable diet!

Remember, that 16 pound loss was my first week when:
A) I was starting at 323 pounds, and
B) I'm sure I was loaded with water.
Yes my weight loss has slowed down (although 3 or 4 pounds a week is just fine by me) but don't forget that I eat whatever I want on my off day (its only a 6 day diet), and I do mean anything - McDonalds, Cookies, candy, etc... That 7th day sets me back 2 or 3 pounds every week, so im really still losing about 6 a week because day 1 and 2 are just to get rid off my off day's eating binge. I could eat healthier on my off day not to go backwards, but:
A) It's working very well like this - how much better than 60 pounds in 9 weeks could I really be doing?
B) If I didnt have that day to go razy I might not have been able to do 9 straight weeks of this.

Yes it was a reply I made to another poster. I didn't know you read it in the other post. I just wanted tou to see that my 16 pound loss, while high, was based on factors you do not have. You arent 323 pounds, and you arent loaded with water.

Well Omgirlie, do you like the soup? If not this seems like the way to go, but I do like it so will continue to use it. We should just start a new post anyway so it doesn't take so long to find stuff. titled? mmm any ideas?
