Drink Lots and lots of water!!!! Flush your system. Your body will hang onto water more if you are not getting enough!

Bo, this diet will usually cause some Bloating, and a lot of Gas, which is difficult when you have to be out among people. Otherwise,"Just LET-ER-RIP!" LOL, holding it back is Painful!
I don't know what would cause YOU all this Bloating! Personally, I think you should talk this over with your Dr., Maybe this isen't the diet for YOU. We are ALL different, what works well for ONE may be Hazzardous for another. Please DO talk to your Dr.
Good Luck to you

I got really bloated too, there is a lot of salt in this diet. I went and got Lasix, it relieves water tension, but I think you need a perscription in the States.

are you lactose intolerant? You mentioned bloating after milk. I know that is what gets me. Eating fruit too close to eating other foods can cause bloating for many.
Cabbage can cause gas also or even fiber filled foods, especially for those who h ave been eating fiberless refined foods. The good thing is your body gets used to the fiber filled foods and gas problems diminish.

If its water retention, you are talking about then I agree you need to drink your water. If you body is dehydrated, it will really hold on to whatever water it can get.

There shouldn't be a lot of salt in this diet if you use your own spices for your soup or don't add it to your veggies you cook. If you don't add all kinds of chemicals or refined foods to this diet, it is really quite pure.

no, i'm not lactose intolerant. well, over the weekend, i took 2 days off after the first 7 days. and the bloating went away... i think it might be the soup?? or just all the fiber i'm taking in?
since i ate the soup whenever i was hungry, my stomach was getting acidic. maybe i shouldn't have the soup alone? anyway, today is Day 1 for me again. i only lost 1.5lb last week. but i only want to lose 20lb. so i guess that's 7.5%. that's not bad! but i just hope that the bloating won't come back as i restart today...

hi C1,
i'm still here... it's not moving as fast as i hope. but at least i'm losing and not gaining! :P

over the weekend, i ate out alot and had a lot of forbidden food (sweets) so it's good to detox my body today with fruits and veggie.
