thank you Maga09 for the list but I still don't understand what negative calorie means. Does it mean that these foods will have a negative calorie effect on your diet unlike the fat burning foods. I would appreciate it so much if you could explain. I hope I don't sound stupid but i really don't know.

I am not sure but i think it means that the food is very low in calories and your body spends more energy digesting and absorbing these food.

I will TRY to explain what "Fat Burning Foods" are, as opposed to "Negative Calorie Foods".
Negative Calorie foods, are Harder for you to DIGEST, and your Body burns Calories just to Digest food. So, if you Put more Negative Calorie foods in your stomach, it Forces your Body to Burn the Calories (FAT), that it has STORED on you, in the form of FAT, ergo, you will lose weight just eating them, and you don't get hungry as fast, they keep you satisfied longer.
Now then, the Fat Burning foods, differ in the fact that they digest faster, BUT, they have qualitys in them that encourages Your body to Burn Fat, and if your NOT putting Fat into your body (eating Sweets, Breads, Fried foods, Fat on Meats etc.) It will Burn the STORED fat. BUT, if we put No-NO's in our body, it will Burn the fat in THEM, and NOT pull it off of our Body's.
I want you all to know that I am NOT a scientist!!LOL,LOL, This is the WAY I understand it from reading about it.
Good Luck to you

Kris, you are a lifesaver! Being in Melbourne, it has been my question as to whether Butternut Pumpkin is the same as squash - I have a fantastic receipe for a soup made of this, and it has no no-nos in it - makes a good alternative to CS!

Whay are some of the foods- particularly fruits- on the negative calorie list also on the fat burning list? How can they be negative calorie when they are in the 'must be restricted' list too?

Sorry- I am a little confused
